Find the pixel dimensions required for a 8×10 inch print.

A 8×10" print at 300 DPI needs about 2400×3000 px (~7.2 MP). Lower DPI needs fewer pixels if viewing distance allows.

Recommended pixels

For photo-quality close viewing, aim for 300 DPI (2400×3000). For posters viewed from farther away, 150–200 DPI can work.
